Before Your Move
• Unless you have arranged for our Chicago moving company to pack you, it is highly recommended that everything is packed & ready to go on moving day. Everything except furniture needs to be boxed. That will save your money and time. • You can leave the items hanging in closets until the day of your move. On moving day, our Chicago movers team will provide you with wardrobe boxes, free of charge, for hanging items in your closets. • Items such as clothes and linens can be left in drawers but don’t overloaded them. • All electronic equipment in your house needs to be boxed. • We as professional movers suggest that large mirrors and pictures over 3 feet are safest left on the wall. Our movers will wrap and secure them properly. • If you have large and more than a few plants – please let our moving company know in advance. We suggest not to water them for at least 3 days prior to your moving date to prevent spills and dirt so other goods won’t be damaged. • Don’t move open liquid items from your refrigerator, i.e. cartons of milk, or any items that can leak or spill and cause damage to other goods.
